Burned Debris - Salvageable or not?

Fires are no joke as evidenced by these photos, this is one of many burnt piles of belongings pulled from a house fire. Items removed from a fire are sorted, cataloged and then packed away to be cleaned at an off-site location. Many items will be classified as “non-salvageable”, meaning it is too burned up to be saved or restoring the item to its original state would cost more than buying a new one. Non-salvageable items are then disposed of in large dumpsters – but only after they are identified and cataloged to the best of our ability so that the homeowners can get compensation from their insurance policy.
